Marguerite Defrance worked as an Artdirector and Graphic Designer in Paris, on various medias for worldwide well-known brands, such as Hutchinson, Total, France Telecom, Michelin, Electricite de France, French Stock Exchange, for her own company.
As a natural change to practice a more artistic job, she designed and hand painted customized “Porcelaines de Limoges” for private clients.
After moving to Florida in 2008, she began painting full-time with
oil colors on canvas.
To improve technique and to learn some professional clues she took classes with famous French Official Marine Masters Painters, Stephane Ruais and Christophe Debusschere in France, her native country.
Even when travelling, she makes time to capture light and color directly from her subjects by painting outdoors.
